What is Microsoft Intunedionar-websitebeheerder
Microsoft Intune is a Cloud service that provides mobile device, application and PC management. This makes it easy for IT administrators to manage and keep business devices secure/up to date.
Intune’s management capabilities help organizations give their employees access to company data, applications, and resources while protecting their business information. Within Intune, there is support for various systems such as Windows, iOS, Android, and Mac OS devices. In addition, Intune has two implementation modes namely a “standalone mode” (full cloud management without local on-premise infrastructure) and a “hybrid mode” (in combination with an on-premises System Center Configuration Manager).
Mobile Application Management (MAM)
Intune’s MAM capabilities enable IT to protect business data with policies that limit data leakage. This allows you to set up, for example, that it is not possible to copy between a company and a personal application. Intune has the ability to set app restriction policies at the app level for use with or without MDM device enrollment.
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
With MDM, IT can manage and control the various aspects of a device through the Intune web-based administrator console. Intune can manage both the company’s devices and end-user personal devices, also known as “Bring your Own Device” (BYOD).
With MDM, end users can enroll/remove their devices, install business apps, quickly access business resources (email, Wi-Fi and VPN profiles, etc.) and contact their IT department or helpdesk using the Intune Company Portal app.
